About Me
As a lifelong learner, I continue to find ways to better myself, and you can too! Growing up as a Gen X female, I was sure life was my oyster, but I had LOTS to learn and now I’m looking to share some of my expertise so that others may have an easier time growing to new heights.

Hiding Isn’t the Way
The truth is we can’t hide from our lives. Whether we deal with things head-on or not, those things holding us back, keeping us stuck, are still there. Dreaming and wishing won’t make life better, but ACTION will.
Helping Others to Help Yourself
Interacting with animals has been shown to decrease levels of cortisol (a stress-related hormone) and lower blood pressure. Other studies have found that animals can reduce loneliness, increase feelings of social support, and boost your mood. (NIH News in Health) At my home rescue is a way of life and we’ve been blessed to foster many kittens along the way. Allowing us to give back while reaping the mental health benefits.

Sometimes listening to others’ stories, reading materials on methods to preserve, and videos can help you understand how to best handle your own situation.
